Privacy and visit analytics
Updated 26 September 2026
Public page-view counter
When an eligible page is opened, the website adds one to a running total. The counter stores only that total and the date counting began. It does not store a visitor ID, cookie, IP address, browser fingerprint or browsing history. It measures page loads, not unique people, and cannot include visits from before this counter began. Known bots, authenticated owner visits, prefetches, and requests carrying Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are excluded where detectable.
Optional detailed analytics
Separate first-party analytics begin only after you choose “Allow analytics”. You can decline without affecting your access to the website or the aggregate page-view counter. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control preferences disable optional detailed analytics.
What optional analytics record
With consent, we record page and section categories, contact-link clicks, broad referral categories, fixed campaign labels, device class and approximate country. A random browser-session identifier resets daily. Names, email addresses, raw IP addresses, full URLs, search terms and precise location are not stored in the analytics database. We do not identify individual visitors or use fingerprinting.
Your IP address is processed transiently to derive a short-lived keyed rate-limit value for optional event collection. The hosting provider also processes network requests and may maintain its own operational and security logs.
Storage and retention
Analytics are processed through the website’s ChatGPT Sites hosting and its Cloudflare-backed database. Processing may occur outside your country, including outside mainland China. Optional event detail is excluded from reports after 90 days and removed on subsequent collection. Aggregate counts are retained. Rate-limit keys expire from use after one minute and are removed during subsequent collection.
Your optional analytics choice is kept in this browser for up to 180 days. If you allow detailed analytics, a random session identifier is stored in sessionStorage. The private dashboard is restricted to the website owner’s authenticated account.
Change your choice
On the main website, select “Analytics preferences” in the footer and choose “Decline analytics”. This stops future optional detailed analytics and clears the local session identifier. The anonymous public page-view total continues to count eligible page loads. Previously recorded anonymous aggregates cannot be linked back to you for individual removal.
